Differs from [r=1390533 with Red Label. Additionally, A3 credited to "Borfel-Farvel" on this release, while other release had correct "Don Redman." The songs on this album were recorded between 1944 and 1952. A1 to A6 come from a concert in San Francisco, CA in the Fall of 1946. The songs were all taken from 78rpm acetate transcription discs. B1 to B6 were all recorded in Los Angeles. B1 to B4 were recorded between 1944 and 1947 and feature a sextet led by guitarist Tiny Grimes. B5, B6 were recorded about 1952. A4 mistakenly credited to E. B. Marks, which is the publisher and not the author.
